The BYC has been proudly sponsoring the Opening Day Ceremonies and Celebrations since 1925.
Our 2010 theme tied back to the Roaring 20s when the club was founded. Commodore Pete Foti and his wife Jamie selected “Bygone Days of Moonshiners, Rumrunners, and Teetotalers” which reflects Bellingham Bay’s colorful history during the Prohibition. And I bet the theme also nods to their vintage Chris Craft Cavalier in cherry condition called “Moonshiner.”
While this year may be over, please enjoy the photos sent in by Rebecca Hall, and of course look forward to next year. As always, if anyone has photos to share, please send them via email or drop off a disk at the club.
