About Fridays@5
Every 1st and 3rd Friday, the Bellingham Yacht Club hosts Fridays@5 – a social gathering that is sometimes potluck, sometimes club hosted and most often hosted by members. Every once in awhile there is a 5th Friday, and when there is you’ll oftentimes hear of a Blue Moon F@5 being held.
F@5 are a longstanding Club tradition – they were re-started in January of 2000 and have been going strong since.
These events are time for members to have a fun informal social event. If you are leaving work on Friday afternoon, steer your way to the club for a great time to meet other members! Many of the members bring appetizers to share, so please bring whatever culinary treat you fancy along with you.
These events give our members a chance to meet and interact with other members in the club to discuss up coming Cruises, the weeks Racing and sometimes have an informative program to benefit us all.. They are always a great time.
Prospective members are also invited to attend and meet the membership of the BYC. Stop by and see the facilities, and talk with the members of the club.
How do I host?
If you would like to sponsor a Friday @ 5, or be put on the regular e-mailings with event info, contact Steve Moore.
Some of our themes in the past have been wine-tasting night and karaoke – if you have an idea and want to host a Friday, contact Steve Moore.
